Taking on the housing crisis, 185,000 new homes at a time: Last week I joined with leaders from 14 other cities and towns in Greater Boston to announce our intention to add 185,000 new housing units by 2030. It’s an ambitious goal that would more than quintuple the region’s current rate of development. Most importantly, it recognizes that we face a collective housing crisis that demands action, and we realize that none of us can combat it alone.
